Part Time Tasting Room Associate - Crimson Lane Vineyards
Who We Are:
Crimson Lane Vineyards is a new Virginia winery in Linden. We are a small production vineyard committed to creating premium estate wines and offering our guests a friendly but elevated experience.
Our Tasting Room:
Will be open by appointment only. Our goal is to give Tasting Room Associates the ability to spend more time with our guests, therefore, we will not host private events or weddings and parties will be limited to six guests. We believe that taking time to introduce Crimson, share our story and talk about our wines in a more complete way will not only result in higher guest satisfaction but also higher sales and tip income.
Who You Are:
You are a “people person” with a passion for wine (or learning more about wine). You are hospitality focused and are available to work weekend shifts. You are self-motivated, friendly and would like to join a small and passionate team to help create a premium wine brand in Virginia, this is the job for you.
- 21+ years of age at time of employment
- Have excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, mush be hospitality and sales driven and enjoy conversion and interacting with people from around the world
- Desire for knowledge of the company’s wines, story, and the winemaking process
- Be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 25 -40 pounds
- Experience in the Hospitality industry
- Winery/Restaurant Experience 1-2 years
- Previous wine knowledge
- Guide guests through an exceptional tasting experience by accurately describing our wines, winemaking techniques, and vineyard history to guests
- Promote the sale of wines and club membership
- Prepare the tasting room for opening and closing each day
- Maintain a warm, friendly, and clean tasting room environment
- $18.00 -$21.00 hourly plus tips
